DESCRIPTION:Cocktails 5PM~ Program~ Dinner 6PM \nThe Vancouver Elks Lodge #823 will be showing our appreciation to all Veterans and families by providing a meal of thanks on November 8\, 2024. We cordially invite those who can attend this special occasion at our lodge beginning at 5 PM. \nDue to our 2nd Annual Golf Tournament this year\, chaired by Christine Bowdish and Michael Schrader\, we were able to fundraise for the Veterans Dinner. Thank you to both of them and to everyone who helped put on and play in the golf tournament. \nWe have partnered with local business owner Peter Kurfurst\, Butcher Boys\, to bring you a special Prime Rib Dinner! The dinner will include prime rib\, mashed potatoes\, green beans\, dinner roll\, salad\, and cake for dessert.\nThe meal will be free to all Veterans\, and just $25 for non-veterans. \nBecause this is a special meal\, we do request that reservations be made through the Lodge Office\,\n(360) 256-0823\, by 11/5/2024\, so that we can ensure we have enough food to feed those who attend. \nThe evening will be filled with music\, the posting of the colors by our local VFW\, and a video montage played throughout the evening. \nIf you would like to have yourself or a loved one honored and shown in the montage\, please send photos to Veterans Chair and Leading Knight\, Stephen Hansen at Stephen.hansen.elks@gmail.com
